MAINTENANCE-FREE PLAIN BEARINGS

Bronze or brass materials with solid lubricant pins – maintenance-free

MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS

In these plain bearing materials, solid lubricants are embedded in a macro-depot system in such a way that permanent self-lubrication of the plain bearing is ensured without additional lubricants. The overlapping arrangement of the depots guarantees lubrication of the entire bearing surface.

Highly wear-resistant copper alloys are used as base materials for this maintenance-free plain bearing variant, selected according to operating conditions. The combination of copper alloy and solid lubricant depots provides the ideal conditions for your plain bearing designs.

  • Permanent self-lubrication of the plain bearing, therefore maintenance-free
  • High corrosion resistance depending on base material
  • High dynamic and static load capacity
  • Suitable for use both dry and in liquids
  • Consistently low coefficient of friction
  • Elimination of contact corrosion, fretting and galling (seizure)
  • Suitable for high- and low-temperature applications
  • Good thermal conductivity
  • Vibration-dampening, low-noise
  • Resistant to dirt and impact
  • No stick-slip
